Attune is the latest release from Oslo based label Ball ‘Em Up. The EP is a stream of conscious exploration of the producer’s surroundings and the audial sounds of club music. The EP consists of 7 tracks that present a wide array of different styles, weaving references in and out of tracks like apparitions, as fragments of a hidden text. The tracks are draped with FAKETHIAS’ unique and impeccable sound design, sculpted from his own field recordings. The ambience emanating from these recordings are constantly contrasted with hard and precise club elements, evoking a feeling of ambiguousness and instability. It’s the sound of someone running from something to something, the sound of someone roaming this city at night, listening intently to its humming, its unique language.
